Forms Used By Daum Nancy
Most of the site is dedicated to vases. So I won’t say much about vases other than they are usually easiest to value and easiest to sell. I did want to take a little bit of time to talk about the other commonly encountered forms used by Daum Nancy. Those are lamps, pitchers, ewers, boxes, jars, and bottles. Click on one of the big pictures below to learn more about what makes each piece of art glass special and valuable. And remember that I am available to answer any and all questions. Just email me: Info@DaumNancy.com
Daum Nancy Lamps
Lamps are perhaps the most misinterpreted form of art glass made by Daum Nancy. Our guide will clear things up and explain what is desirable and what is common in a lamp.
Daum Nancy Pitchers and Ewers
Pitchers are ewers can be beautiful, but they have a couple of pitfalls that you need to be aware of. Click on the picture below to learn more information about the hidden problems.
Daum Nancy Boxes, Jars, and Bottles
These small items have a special market all of their own. We have some quick tips on how to tell if what you have is a real winner or if it is run of the mill. Click on the picture for details.
Daum Nancy Bowls
A quick word about bowls: We didn’t include an extra guide for bowls because they are usually relatively easy to understand. If you have a bowl, then I would use the site to value it like it is a vase. Once you have a value then I would divide it by two. That should get you a relatively accurate price. There is a market for bowls, and other low profile wares, but they are generally discounted a good bit compared to most other art glass made by Daum Nancy.
